We have years of experience about data modeling and design so we can solve all your data modeling problems. We have most experience about financial sector databases including data warehouses with Linstedt, Inmon or Kimball design styles.
Bill Inmon’s enterprise data warehouse approach (the top-down design): A normalized data model is designed first. Then the dimensional data marts, which contain data required for specific business processes or specific departments are created from the data warehouse.
Ralph Kimball’s dimensional design approach (the bottom-up design): The data marts facilitating reports and analysis are created first; these are then combined together to create a broad data warehouse.
Dan Linstedt's the Data Vault Model is a detail oriented, historical tracking and uniquely linked set of normalized tables that support one or more functional areas of business. It is a hybrid approach encompassing the best of breed between 3rd normal form (3NF) and star schema. The design is flexible, scalable, consistent and adaptable to the needs of the enterprise.
ETL is our core knowledge. We have worked with Microsoft's ETL tools since DTS. We have done many SSIS migrations example 2005 to 2014. With our very deep SQL Server knowledge and strong coding skills we can optimize performance and expand your packages to any direction.
